Hugh O. “Chip” Brown, Jr. is an Owner and Principal of Breedlove Land Planning, Inc. He began his professional experience with BLP, Inc. in 1994 as an Environmental Designer with a Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia. Between 1996 and 1997 he worked with Robert and Company and was exposed to a variety of master planning, land use planning and streetscape projects. He returned to BLP, Inc. in March of 1997 as a Project Manager and became a corporate partner in 1998. Mr. Brown became President of Breedlove Land Planning, Inc. in 2002.
Mr. Brown has contributed to guiding Breedlove Land Planning, Inc. to a firm of prominence known for professional landscape architectural and consulting engineering services. As a Principal, Mr. Brown is responsible for the overall management of BLP, Inc.
Mr. Brown has extensive experience in master planning, design development and construction for a range of recreational, educational, institutional and commercial facilities. His awareness and understanding of the relationship between the natural and built environment provides depth to the Breedlove Land Planning, Inc. design team, which benefits our clients.
Mr. Brown has served as Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager for a vast array of planning and site design projects. He is active in all phases of the design process from programming to construction administration. His experience and knowledge of the design and construction process have led to the successful implementation of many projects.
